Alicia Hamstra is a Registered Psychotherapist, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Alicia holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelors in Religious Education (and Business Administration, Human Resource Management, General Arts and Science...she likes to learn). Alicia has furthered her training and holds various course certificates in working with anxiety, depression, suicide, self-harm, post traumatic stress disorder, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit disorder (ADD / ADHD) and grief.
She works with a variety of individuals, couples, and families ranging in age from children to seniors. Alicia’s passion is for people and working alongside individuals and families to heal, grow and achieve their best selves. She offers a judgement free, client centered counselling experience; meaning therapy goals and treatment are tailored to each clients needs, past experiences and future goals. Alicia works through a variety of modalities and techniques to structure sessions, which include Psychoanalytic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Trauma Informed therapies.
Marissa Dubé is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She provides an individualized approach to therapy that is client-centered, empathetic, and supportive through a cognitive behavioural therapy. Marissa is currently working towards receiving her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioural Psychology from St. Lawrence College and five years’ experience within the social services field. Marissa enjoys spending her spare time being creative and soaking up the sunshine when possible.
